Players who retired in 2022: many illustrious names

Anderson Hernanes de Carvalho Viana Lima - this is the full name - ended his career at Recife. Palmares full of trophies including an Italian Championship with the Juventus, an Olympic Bronze and two Italian Cups.

Blaise Matuidi (1987)
The French midfielder ended his career at Inter Miami in MLS. Protagonist of the World Cup won with France in 2018. In his palmares he also counts three Italian Championships with Juventus and four Ligue 1 with PSG.

Shunsuke Nakamura (1978)
The Japanese midfielder, in Europe for eight seasons (Reggina, Celtic and Espanyol) ended his adventure as a footballer with Yokohama FC. For him 98 appearances with the national team with 24 goals.
