Who is Christina Vukicevic, the beautiful former Norwegian hurdler

Christina Vukicevic was born on 18 June 1987 in Norway and is a former Norwegian hurdler.

Vukicevic was coached by her father Petar Vukićević, who competed for Yugoslavia at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. Her brother, Vladimir Vukicevic, is also an obstacle. She is married to Norwegian footballer Vadim Demidov.

On February 29, 2016, she revealed that she was expecting a child with Demidov and announced her retirement from professional sports, not competing since 2012 due to injury.

The youth sporting successes of Christina Vukicevic
Her gold medal at the 2003 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival in Paris was her first international title. She finished fifth at the 2004 World Junior Championships and won a silver medal at the 2005 European Junior Championships in Kaunas. She made her senior global debut at the 2007 World Championships and set a personal best of 13.07 seconds in the heats. From 2004 to 2008 Norwegian champion, in 2008 with a time of 13.20 seconds.

She then lowered her personal best time to 13.05 seconds, achieved during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. She won her first international gold medal at the 2009 European Under-23 Championships in Kaunas, with a time of 12.99 seconds. She lowered her record that year to 12.74, achieved in Hengelo.

She started the 2010 season by setting a new record in the 60 metres hurdles in 7.94 seconds, a Norwegian record. At the 2010 European Team Championships she won the bronze medal. Her 2011 opened with the national record on the 60 m hurdles (7.92 seconds) improved further with 7'"90 at the BW Bank Meeting of February.
